Glenn Neasham is well - known throughout Lake County, California for his insurance planning work. This is as it should be, really — after all, he has owned and operated Neasham Financial and Insurance Group since 1987. He is a respected member of the Chamber of Commerce and has hundreds of satisfied clients. He even has a nickname among his colleagues, clients, and professionals with whom he works — he is called, "The Safe Money Guy." This is because he plays everything safe and refuses to take chances with his clients' money and investments.
Neasham is quickly gaining a positive reception among the public for another business endeavor, though. Many people are beginning to recognize Neasham as an entrepreneur in the bottled water industry.
In 2006, Neasham founded his own enhanced bottled water company called OxyboostH2O!. His water is a performance water, and it is free of fats, calories, flavorings, preservatives, caffeine, and sugars. OxyboostH2O! is also non-carbonated. Neasham's water is made from artesian spring water, put through a special patented Vortex process through which additional oxygen is added. Naturally occurring electrolytes are also added.
Neasham believes that his OxyboostH2O! will become a strong contender in the enhanced water industry. Launched in February of 2007, it is already being sold on the shelves of several stores throughout California. Neasham thinks that his water is the best of the best — and that it will soon outsell many direct competitors, including Vitamin Water.
Neasham has a specific interest in Vitamin Water. It was seeing the owner of Vitamin Water talk about the success of his company that gave Neasham the motivation to actually begin his OxyboostH2O! company. Of course, the talk of the Vitamin Water executive wasn't the only driving force behind his entrepreneurship in the bottled water industry.
When Neasham was younger, his father had 660 acres of land. On this land were three wells, and these wells produced between 1000 and 5000 gallons of water per minute. Seeing the action of these wells was a powerful image for Neasham — as it would be for anyone. So, Neasham carried this image with him as he grew up — and when he came across an opportunity that meshed with that image (the bottled water industry), he acted upon it.
Before developing his bottled water company, however, Neasham explored his interest in journalism and the newspaper industry. He purchased and worked with two newspapers -- the Citrus Heights City Times and the Goldriver News . He did this for several years, even working as the publisher for the Goldriver News . Neasham sold the newspapers in 2005 when he decided it was time to move back to Lake County.
Throughout his time pursuing his various side businesses, one thing has remained a constant — the Neasham Financial and Insurance Group. Neasham has always continued to work with clients through his insurance business, helping them to plan their financial futures. Assisting people manage their assets has always been Neasham's main interest.
As a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), Neasham has a great deal of experience in helping clients choose the best type of long-term care insurance. He has worked with hundreds of people in planning their estates so as to avoid probate. In helping his clients, Neasham has a philosophy — he believes that people work too hard and for too long for their money; therefore, they should be able to keep as much of that as possible. Tax deferment strategies and investments are a big part of Neasham's plans for many people's financial portfolios.
Whether people know him as "The Safe Money Man," an entrepreneur, or a former newspaperman doesn't matter to Neasham — his favorite role in life is that of family man. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Tonya, and his three children, Logan, Emily, and Katelynn.-
